Thrive in Uncertainty: Redesigning the resilient net-zero supply chain

This year the EPCA’s Supply Chain Programme Committee (SCPC) has joined forces with Deloitte to investigate how to reshape the petrochemical supply chain in the post-pandemic world.

Our joint programme aims to gain a better insight into how the persisting supply chain and logistics challenges are impacting EPCA Members’ business and how companies are embracing disruption to build back a more resilient supply chain. Over 160 EPCA member companies participated in a survey to determine the impact of changes during COVID-19 and the period of recovery, expected changes in the next decade and what abilities have been developed to better respond and recover from disrupting events.

Survey results will be integrated with insights from supply chain leaders and Deloitte’s recommendations, with the aim to turn the research into a tool to support organisations with the next disruptions. The outcome will be a matter of discussion at the traditional Logistics session at the EPCA 56th Annual Meeting, taking place on 6 October.

Confirmed speakers include Arnoud de Meyer, Professor at Singapore Management University, Robert Jan Huizing, Director Supply Chain Transformation at Deloitte and Nicolette van der Jagt, Director General of European Association for Forwarding CLECAT.
