Adpo

Antwerp Distribution and Products Operations (ADPO) was founded in 1988 as a Belgian, private and family -managed company. On the left bank of the river Scheldt in the Port of Antwerp an integrated chemical distribution complex of 15 ha was constructed. ADPO was the first company that combined all aspects of physical distribution for liquid bulk products on one site.

In 1999, AFC (transport division of ADPO) was established in order to offer our customers the full supply chain concept. In 2001 ADPO Antwerp significantly expanded its existing infrastructure with 10 ha, with a highly automated tank terminal. To handle the growing traffic at its Antwerp terminal a multimodal logistic area (parking for trucks, access control, private rail tracks and a solar park) of 5 ha was established in 2006.

Early 2007 ADPO strengthened its position in conventional cargo handling, forwarding and warehousing with the acquisition of two well-established companies, both active on the right bank of the river Scheldt in Antwerp. These two companies were merged in 2010 under the name of CBN. Today the storage and distribution of highly specialised chemicals remain the market niche and core business of ADPO. After 25 years ADPO has set a new milestone with the acquisition of a new plot of land of 10 ha in the Port of Antwerp: ADPO Liefkenshoek Terminal Left Bank. The challenge in the coming years will be to offer further sustainable and tailor-made logistics solutions to our customers. Ground breaking will start at the beginning of 2014.

Our mission is to offer integrated product flow solutions in accordance with environmental, safety and health regulations without compromises, and to contribute to a high-quality standard of living for today's and future generations. Our 300 employees really make a difference.
