European Youth Debating Competition
EYDC is back in 2017! National finals will take place in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain and the UK, with the European Finals taking place in Berlin in the framework of the 51st EPCA Annual Meeting. More information to follow soon...
The EYDC is a joint project between EPCA and PlasticsEurope, giving the opportunity to groups of young students, aged 16 to 19, to debate on chemistry related issues.
In 2016, the debate was around the theme “How would you imagine your future - with of without the petrochemical industry and plastics?”
The theme underscores the industry’s sustainability effort, allowing a pro/con debate and setting the scene.
National finals took place from April until September 2016 in the following countries:

The European finals of the European Youth Debating Competition inclusive training took place in Budapest on the 2nd of October 2016 during EPCA’s 50th Anniversary Annual Meeting.
