Ian ter Haar joined Royal Vopak in 2006 and was appointed Global Product Director LPG per October 2015. Ian ter Haar has some 30 years of experience in the international trading business and the international tank storage industry. After joining Vopak in 2006, Ian ter Haar took up the positions of Managing Director Vopak Peru and Chile, General Manager in China Hainan, Commercial & Business Development Director Vopak Asia Singapore, Managing Director LPG in The Netherlands and Global Product Director LPG & Olefins. Appointed Global Product Director Chemicals and Gas (LPG, Olefins and Ammonia) and Global Account Director for the major petrochemical companies as per April 1st 2022. Ian ter Haar holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Groningen. He also has been a member of Dutch Hydrogen Council 2016-2020.
