Marina Ismael Michen holds a PhD in Materials Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany.

She works for The Dow Chemical Company since 2011, where she experienced different positions from technical to commercial.

Since March 2018 she works for the Industrial Solutions business as the Global Market Segment Leader for the Crop Defense segment and as the Market Segment Manager for Food, Feed and Crop Defense in EMEAI.

She is Brazilian and lives in Switzerland with her husband and children.
