Koruma Klor Alkali San Tic. A.Ş was established in Kocaeli in 1964 as Turkey's first Chlorine Alkali production facility. It is a producer of Caustic Caustic (industrial type and suitable for food E 524), Caustic Straws, Liquid Chlorine, Sodium Hypochlorite, Hydrochloric Acid, Iron III Chloride (FeCl3), Chlorinated Paraffin, Sodium Silicate Calcium Chloride and Poly Aluminum Chloride, which are the main inputs of industry and public health.
Our products are used as raw materials in automotive, textile, food, paint, metal, detergent, mining, oil exploration, geothermal well drilling and operation, petro-chemistry, iron and steel industries.
It is the main supplier of liquefied chlorine gas, the main chemical of public health, in Turkey and our neighbors.
After the Kocaeli (Derince) facilities, the Hatay (Kırıkhan) production facility in 2007 and the Denizli (Honaz) production facility in 2012, the number of production facilities increased to 3. With the capacity increases in 2013 and 2014, Turkey's Board has reached the largest chlorine production capacity.
