Theme Announced and Anniversary Enhancements
At its meeting on 27 February 2026, the EPCA Board of Directors unveiled the theme of this year’s Annual Meeting and introduced several improvements shaped by member feedback - a timely response as our industry navigates profound transformation and growing economic pressure.
‘Rethinking Resilience’
Resilience once meant bouncing back. Today it means operating in permanent crisis mode and still finding the capacity to design Europe's industrial future.
Europe’s petrochemical industry is facing fundamental challenges, including high energy costs, shifting trade flows, regulatory pressure, and intensifying global competition. In this environment, resilience must extend beyond crisis response. It must be engineered into our cost base, supply chains, investment decisions, and industrial strategy.
The 60th Annual Meeting of EPCA will explore how Europe can strengthen competitiveness while advancing sustainability and maintaining global connectivity. Bringing together more than 2,500 leaders from manufacturing, trading, logistics, finance, and services, EPCA provides the platform to collaborate and redesign, not just defend.
