Pilar Fernandez is Repsol’s Base Petrochemicals & Intermediate Products Business Unit Director since January 2024.

Between mid-2022 and the end of 2023, she adeptly managed dual responsibilities as Base Petrochemicals Director and Director of Logistic and Customer Service. During this period, Pilar became a member of EPCA's Supply Chain Program Committee (SCPC).

In 2016, Pilar transitioned to the Production and Logistics Team, overseeing the Planning and Optimization department at Repsol Química. Prior to this, from 2000 to 2016, she held key roles in the Base Petrochemical Unit, including Product Manager for Aromatics and Product Manager for C4’s. Notably, Pilar played a vital role in leading the transformation of Feedstocks for the Olefins Units, contributing significantly to operational efficiency.

Pilar Fernandez's journey with Repsol began in 1998 after graduating in Chemistry from Rovira i Virgili University in Tarragona.
