Yves ANTOINE has developed an extensive logistics and supply chain expertise thanks to a wealth of professional experience entirely dedicated to these professions, in industry and with major LSPs; particularly in the chemical and hazardous materials sectors in which he has been active for more than 20 years.
Having started at RENAULT at the end of the 80s, Yves ANTOINE quickly learned the fundamentals of supply chain management, a pioneering concept in the automotive industry at that time, by participating in the structuring of IT solutions applied to industrial planning.
Having held roles as Distribution Manager and transport buyer at Lafarge Aluminates (today Kerneos) from 1995 then Supply Chain Manager at Rhodia (today Solvay) from 2001, he consolidated his experience in large international process industries and first approached the world of chemicals.
He then moved to “the other side of the fence” by collaborating with Norbert Dentressangle (now XPO) in 2006 for whom he created the Engineering & Customer Solution structure before heading the sales of the European bulk division; and then with FRET SNCF in 2013 as Commercial Director for Chemicals/Oil, Automotive and FMCGs.
He joined Arkema in 2018 as Director Global Logistics Procurement of the group, a role in which he defines and implements the purchasing policy for logistics services in all countries where the group is present, while providing active support to the execution of operations. He thus participates in establishing the group's decarbonization trajectory for its logistics activities.
Yves ANTOINE is a long-time member of the EPCA and a diligent attendee in EPCA annual meetings.
