Introducing EPCA’s Newest Committee: focusing on the Net-Zero Transition
We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Net-Zero Transition Committee, made up of a dedicated group of industry leaders, experts, and innovators committed to driving decarbonization and sustainable practices across the entire petrochemical value chain. With a focus on actionable outcomes and industry collaboration, the committee represents a proactive and strategic signal to ensure that the petrochemical industry is not left behind in the global push towards sustainability.

Why now?
The petrochemical industry stands at a pivotal moment in its history, facing growing pressure from regulators, investors, consumers, and society at large to reduce its carbon footprint and embrace sustainable practices. The EPCA Board therefore esteemed that it was essential to create a committee to address the urgent need to transition to a low-carbon economy and the industry’s commitment to addressing environmental challenges while ensuring its continued viability.
How can you get involved?
As we kick off our journey, we invite all EPCA members to participate actively in this exciting initiative. Over the coming months, the committee will be mapping current decarbonization efforts and examining the latest technological advancements that could redefine our industry. We will provide opportunities for members to engage, contribute, and share their experiences, and we are committed to communicating every step of the way.
Stay tuned for updates on our progress, upcoming meetings, and ways you can get involved. Together, we can make the net-zero transition not just a goal but a reality for the petrochemical industry.
