EPCA is seeking a dynamic Committee Coordinator for an interim contract to oversee our committees and event programs. About the role:

We are looking for an experienced and organized Committee Coordinator to administrate our committees, working groups, and associated event programs during a maternity cover. This interim role will include an initial handover period with the possibility of long-term integration into the team once the Senior Advisor returns.

You will be responsible for coordinating EPCA’s three committees, ensuring the delivery of high-value work on time.

Key responsibilities:

  • Implement each committee’s work plan, ensuring that scope, objectives, and deliverables are on track.
  • Schedule and organize meetings (physical or virtual) for relevant working groups/committees including invitations, supporting documents, and drafting meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate and prepare program sessions during the Annual Meeting in liaison with EPCA’s Marketing & Digital Communications Manager.
  • Manage selection, invitation, and preparation of speakers and moderators for events.
  • Support the Marketing & Digital Communications Manager by providing content for website and social media.

Skills & qualifications:

  • Keen interest in the petrochemical industry and related matters such as supply chain, DEI, digitalization, sustainability, and circular economy.
  • Formal experience in a related field (e.g., working group/committee coordination) is considered a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; other European languages are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with initiative and autonomy.
  • Service-oriented with excellent time-management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office, SurveyMonkey, Doodle etc.

Location: Brussels, Belgium
Contract duration: March 2025 - October 2025 (potential future integration into team)
