#EPCA58 Recap and Future Plans for 2025
Dear EPCA members,
58th Annual Meeting | 7-10 October 2024 | Berlin, Germany
It was wonderful to see so many of you at #EPCA58! Nearly 3,000 delegates gathered in Berlin to engage in meaningful discussions and forge valuable collaborations.
It was a fantastic opportunity to (re)connect with many of you. The event reinforced how vital EPCA’s gatherings are to our industry, providing a platform to share insights, tackle shared challenges, and reaffirm our collective commitment to progress. Despite the current economic headwinds, #EPCA58 demonstrated the petrochemical industry’s determination to work collaboratively toward innovative solutions. I’d like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the EPCA Board members for their support in preparing the Annual Meeting and to my dedicated colleagues at the Secretariat. Their hard work and team spirit were instrumental in making this event a success. Thank you all for your invaluable contributions!
Preparing for 2025
As we look ahead, we are excited to begin preparations for #EPCA59, scheduled to take place in Berlin from 22-25 September 2025. I would like to thank all of you who took the time to share your valuable feedback by completing the Annual Meeting feedback survey. Your insights are instrumental as our Board works to define the themes and topics for the coming years, in line with the dynamic evolution of the petrochemical industry. I encourage you to save the date and stay tuned for important updates as plans unfold.
We have engaged an external agency to help us evaluate the impact of our member services and identify tools to future-proof our organization. Beginning in early January, this agency, along with EPCA staff, will facilitate outreach to selected company representatives to gather valuable insights about EPCA's services. While not all members will be contacted directly, we encourage you to send any suggestions or feedback to members@epca.eu at any time. This initiative is designed to help us better understand how we can improve our support for all members, with a particular focus on the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Thank you for your continued commitment to EPCA and the petrochemical industry. Together, we are building a future defined by innovation, sustainability, and shared success.
Best regards,
Johann Lenhart
CEO (EPCA)
