Talents of Today, Leaders of Tomorrow Committee (TTLT)

The TTLT is made up of representatives from EPCA member companies with diverse and multicultural backgrounds in terms of age, gender, function, education and career - reflecting the needs of the industry. Its primary objective is to ensure that the petrochemical industry attracts, develops and retains the talent and leadership needed to build a smart, resilient, sustainable and inclusive future.

The industry faces a decisive decade: a significant share of the workforce will be eligible for retirement in the coming years, competition for STEM talent is intensifying, and the green and digital transitions are reshaping the skills and leadership capabilities the sector needs. The TTLT brings member companies together to tackle these challenges collectively - sharing knowledge, building practical tools, and ensuring no member faces the future of talent alone.
The TTLT operates through three thematic pillars:

Inspiring the Next Generation
This group works to strengthen the attractiveness of the petrochemical industry as a career destination. By addressing perception gaps, supporting STEM education initiatives and engaging with students and educators across Europe, the subgroup aims to build a diverse and skilled talent pipeline for the industry's future... 

Building Tomorrow's Leaders
This group identifies the skills and capabilities that industry leaders will need to navigate today's complex environment - from geopolitical uncertainty and sustainability pressures to digital transformation and multigenerational workforces. It develops practical guidance and shares best practices to equip current and future leaders at all levels.

Fostering Inclusion and Belonging
This group provides EPCA members with the tools, benchmarks and best practices needed to build diverse, equitable and inclusive workplaces. It focuses on ensuring all individuals, regardless of gender, background or generation, have equal opportunities to contribute and thrive within the petrochemical industry.
